There is some root problems over here with FC Viktoria 1889. No, I am not talking or comment about current match engine which is I am pretty sure; Sports Interactive try to tackle down (like set pieces, possession, cross etc).
I am talking about the ability to make a progress. In forward direction. In 2023/2024 I had a huge crisis with players complain about playing time; nearly all of them. Even my back-up GK which played 10 games from 38, because my main GK was injured.
The second big crisis was: 2nd half of the league. Sitting 7th (come on guys, yes we have it) and for some reason lost their minds. Three fixtures before the end, we saved a relegation. We losing against Verl, Halle etc which was relegated; I mean: Am I good about motivating my players?
In the end of the season, I took a hard decision: 13 players will leave the club. No contract renewal. This time will shake the club from ground-up. Even background staff will leave.
We have elections. FC Viktoria 1889 didn’t offer me a contract, yet, 1st June and my contract expire in 1 month.
Tactic: No IF. No IW. No Mezzala. I am starting to think, not even a 433 DM. We faced 4–2–3–1 and 4–4–2 most of the times (thank you Data Hub). It’s time for 4–4–2 creation.
